Boca Raton, Fla. — The Barbara Brennan School of Healing® (BBSH) announces its annual Student for a Day program, presented by Laurie Keene, BBSH School Dean, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the Bonaventure Resort and Spa in Weston, Florida (greater Fort Lauderdale).
The Student for a Day program is designed to provide a brief look into a day in the life of a BBSH student. BBSH will open its doors and share its one-of-a-kind approach to education, healing and personal transformation.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to sit in on real classes, learn actual healing skills, and ask questions about the school, the curriculum, even student life. The sessions for that day have been selected especially for the purpose of exposing future students to as much of the school as possible. BBSH has a dedicated, world-class faculty; the student body is open, committed to the work, and kind; and the school’s location in sunny Florida is wonderful for study and self-renewal.
Participants will be encouraged to ask lots of questions—not only of the staff, but also of the current students. Students will be a resource for answers about the student experience during the day. A formal question-and-answer session with select teachers and staff will also be held to help participants learn more about the school’s curriculum and teaching approach.
The registration fee for Student for a Day is $50, which includes lunch with the students. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and runs through 5:00 p.m. Participants also have the option of joining current staff and students at 7:30 p.m. for the Year 4 Student Ceremony, typically a set of performance pieces that each class year performs describing their particular journey over the last year.
