Attention All Cosmetology Students:
BEACON Applications are Due March 1, 2009
Phoenix, AZ (December 19, 2009) - From cosmetology students studying to be the next great hair stylist, esthetician or make-up artist, to those dreaming of starting their own business, BEACON is the program to help turn dreams into reality. Produced by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), BEACON provides students with an opportunity to interact and learn directly from industry greats, gaining valuable networking opportunities and insight on how to accelerate their career in the business of beauty. Only 100 students are selected to participate in this exclusive program. BEACON will be a part of PBA Symposium, now held in conjunction with the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) and Cosmoprof North American (CPNA), July 18-21, 2009, in Las Vegas.
Entries must be submitted online at probeauty.org/beacon and are due by March 1, 2009, at 12:00pm EST. To be eligible to apply, students must have been enrolled in a licensed cosmetology program between September 1, 2008 and March 1, 2009. There is a $25.00 fee to enter.
