Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage is hosting two workshops in Olympia, Washington. The first workshop will take place Oct. 23, 2012, while the second workshop will take place Jan. 21, 2013. Both workshops are designed to cater to people considering a career change or those who recently graduated from high school.
"Becoming a massage therapist takes a lot of dedication. Just like an inspiring bakery owner would first be advised to work in a bakery, I suggest people attend our all-day workshop on what it takes to be a massage therapist before applying or paying for any program," says Shari Aldrich, owner of Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage. "By hosting these daylong workshops, individuals have an in-depth chance to learn about the profession, ask detailed questions and really get a sense for our industry."
Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage is offering each workshop for $65. The cost is a small investment to ensure a person is really ready for the commitment and challenges associated with becoming a massage therapist. "We want to provide potential students with an opportunity to experience our practical introduction to Swedish massage techniques. Come prepared to receive and perform massage," continued Aldrich.
People interested in the program can sign up, via PayPal or by using a major credit card, by clicking www.bodymechanics.net/subpages/workshop.html.
The Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy & Massage has a unique learning environment that is both fun and stimulating.
