Georgia Massage School, the newest metro Atlanta school of massage therapy education, invites you to join them at an Open House on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 10 am - 2 pm in Suwanee, GA.

Suwanee, Ga. (PRWEB) June 19, 2009 -- Georgia Massage School owners Rick Garbowski, LMT and Laurie Craig, 2007 American Massage Therapy Association National Teacher of the Year will host an Open House at the Gwinnett County location on Horizon Drive in Suwanee, GA. The full and part-time massage therapy classes will be showcased for individuals looking to pursue careers in the massage industry.

"A combined 40 years of experience educating massage therapists has blessed us with many wonderful friends in the massage industry. We are pleased to have this opportunity to share our vision of massage education with them." Everyone is welcome, we hope to renew old friendships and make new ones.

This massage therapist school will offer opportunities to those who are interested in massage, whether making it a primary or secondary career, or for those who just want to learn more about stress reduction and soft tissue injury repair.

Craig and Garbowski are both extremely well respected within the massage education industry and will use their life and educational experiences to teach eager students. Craig has bachelor and master degrees in biology and was the recipient of the prestigious 2007 American Massage Therapy Association National Teacher of the Year award. She developed the first college-level Anatomy & Physiology course for massage therapists in the state and has served as a subject matter expert for the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Garbowski has held senior level massage therapy positions including lead instructor, director of massage education and division director during his 16-year career as a massage therapy educator. For the past 10 years, his responsibilities included writing and managing massage therapy curriculum hiring, training, teaching and managing massage faculty.

The metro Atlanta school of massage location has easy access to the interstate, as well as other businesses where students can enjoy over 30 dining options within a two-mile radius. Georgia Massage School is also within five miles of the University of Georgia-Gwinnett Campus and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-Georgia Campus.
