Northwestern Health Sciences University Graduates 56 Students at Summer Commencements

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The School of Massage Therapy and the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University held commencement ceremonies on Aug. 15, 2009. The University presented 36 students with a certificate in massage therapy, as well as six students with a master's degree in acupuncture, and 14 students with a master's degree in Oriental medicine.

The Massage Therapy commencement address was delivered by Martha Brown Menard, PhD, CMT, of Menard Consulting. The MCAOM commencement address was delivered by Karen J. Clark, BS, MPA, a representative from the Minnesota House of Representatives.

The presidential greeting was presented by Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern, at both ceremonies.

Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and human biology. The University has nearly 900 students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minnesota.
