World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts Opens New Massage Schools

The World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts announces its first professional, Chinese-language massage schools.

Pleasanton, CA (PRWEB) Jan. 17, 2012. San Francisco Bay Area's World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts has announced the opening of its first professional, Chinese-language massage schools, located in both San Francisco and Sunnyvale, California. The first massage school is now open at World School's main San Francisco Bay Area campus at 401 32nd Ave. Both Chinese- and English-language massage therapy certification programs are available at this locale. The second campus is located in the San Jose area at 111 W. El Camino Real, Suite 121, in Sunnyvale. This campus is currently a dedicated Chinese-speaking massage school.

"This is a great step forward for our school, and its commitment to creating access for all to holistic education by the year 2020," said Patricia Cramer, MS, World School of Massage owner and founder.

These new massage schools provide 250- and 500-hour, professional massage therapy programs that meet California state certification requirements for practicing massage. Both Bay Area massage therapy schools offer day and evening programs. For those who already have extensive training in massage, energy healing and traditional Chinese medicine learned in China, World School's holistic massage programs serve as refresher courses, expanding and rounding out previous training by integrating familiar Eastern traditions with new Western traditions. Due to market demand, this combination increases the likelihood of employment and long-term success as entrepreneurs in private practices.

For those who would like to practice massage therapy and the healing arts for the first time, these new massage schools provide low-cost certification training that can lead to employment and entrepreneurship at higher rates of pay than they would otherwise receive.

The new San Francisco and San Jose massage schools are just two of the many massage schools that World School plans to open throughout the U.S. over the next 20 years. World School of Massage opened these new Chinese-language massage therapy schools in anticipation of fulfilling its vision to make holistic-health education available for everyone by the year 2020.

"We are thrilled to move forward in our development of curriculum and training as part of our global holistic health and massage school initiative," Cramer said.
